Canada was a large Pre-War nation on the northern border of the United States of America, Canada was inhabited by Native peoples for thousands of years before European settlers came in the Sixteenth Century. In the Late 21st Century, she was annexed by the United States of America, following the Chinese invasion of Alaska, and like her neighbor was struck by atomic warheads during the Great War.
The history of Canada has been relatively forgotten to many, another faded history book in the gutted remanents of a public library or footnote on a historical text. What is known is what occurred in the year 2072; the Annexation of Canada, following a great deal of general mistrust and uneasy tension between the United States of America and Canada, first beginning when Canada objected to the movement of material and forces through its territory to access and reinforce the ailing Alaskan frontline, which was being pounded by Chinese forces.
US Forces under the command of Commander Buzz Babcock moved to annex the entirety of Canada in a sweeping movement that saw protest from both Canda and in the United States of America, though in truth the preparations for the annexation of Canada had begun long before, as early as 2067, behind closed doors and spoken in whispers. Canada was devastated in 2077 by the nuclear warheads of the Great War, which rained down upon many civilian and military centers in Canada, echoing what was occurring in the United States and across the globe.
