The ER Model 35 is one of the first rifles made by the Edmunds/Rodgers Corporation, and one of the most popular. It is known for its incredible accuracy. It is a high-quality rifle, featuring pads to reduce recoil, and a well designed bolt that allows rounds to be easily removed and featuring a classic three-position safety. The ER Model 35 Super is a higher caliber version of the regular Model 35. It is chambered for the Edmunds/Rodgers .358 Magnum round, which has a maximum velocity of 2,850 Feet per Second. It was a superb cartridge for the largest of North American game--elk, moose, brown bear, and bison. While it is needlessly powerful for deer-sized game, it can be used, at least with the heavier (and therefore slower) .358 bullets on such game without destroying too much meat. It would also work well on most large African species. The .358 Magnum produces more than 4,600 ft-lbs (foot-pounds) of kinetic energy at the muzzle, and can deliver a foot-ton 500 yards downrange. It produces recoil to match; The recoil of a .358 Magnum is everything most seasoned shooters will care to tolerate. The ER Model 100 is a high caliber hunting rifle produced by the Edmunds/Rodgers Corporation. It was designed for taking down the biggest game as fast as possible. It has a high recoil, and should only be used by experienced marksmen. Firing Edmunds/Rodgers .460 Magnum rounds at 2,980 Feet per Second, the Model 100's recoil is powerful enough that many hunters prefer to use special made toned down ammunition, which reduces recoil. Most weapons using the ER .460 use a special muzzle break to help reduce recoil, but the Model 100 usually is not equipped with one, unless it is modified after being purcased. The ER Model 100 Silver is a high caliber hunting rifle produced by the Edmunds/Rodgers Corporation, based on the Model 100. The primary use of the rifle should be hunting large, thick-skinned game. It is powerful enough to kill any land animal and, with its high velocity, can do so at fairly long ranges. One should note that such performance comes at the price of a heavy recoil, similar but not quite as powerful as the regular Model 100. The Edmunds/Rodgers .375 Magnum round fired by the 100 Silver maxes out at around 2,780 feet per second by standard factory loading, but Handloaders can increase this to about 2,900 Feet per Second. Like the Model 100, the Model 100 Silver is a very valuable weapon in the wasteland.
