People are kicking empty cans, we could be focusing on teaching the Legion a lesson, enlightening the Truth settlers. This goal can be too far away in the future, but I rather see this town get beaten in our struggle as christians of the Wasteland and not beaten by hunger and thirst as we stall in the sun.— Julián C. Plasentar, expressing his opinion in a speech., -2277

Julián C. Plasentar is the current leader of The Consequent Assembly, and a devout catholic.

Biography[]

Julián C. Plasentar was born in 2241 in Las Cruces, where he grew following his christian parents and avoiding Inquisitor enforcers. At age 13 he found one of the few readable pre-war books in the town. It was a magazine featuring various politcians on their strategies in leadership. Thankfully the magazine seemed to be smuggled from Mexico, and written completely in Spanish. Julián saw the opportunity to lead a free Las Cruces, no Inquisitors whipping the weak, no Inquisitors extorting supplies from her parents.

As Julián C. Plasentar reached adulthood in 2262, he decided to do small speeches in secret Anti-Inquisitor meetings. Julián was never caught, but he would still be tangled up in a mess. The Inquisitors had forced various young men to partake in defending the cult from Deus' Legionnaries. Julián C. Plasentar learned various terms of the English and Latin languages while fighting the Legionnaries, believing this would help his planned career as a politician. Julián only battled 12 weeks and 4 days until he decided to dessert with a bundle of his peers, still keeping his ammo and automatic rifle for self-defence. At the age of 34, Julián C. Plasentar reached the town of Truth or Consequences, and decided that after many years of having his people pushed around, he would lead them to stand their ground.

This was sadly not the case. Julián C. Plasentar is not able enough to organize the people of Consequences to a greater mission. Julián found out about 2 priests and 11 other settlers trying to achieve his same view. He joined them instantly, and formed The Consequent Assembly. Julián and the other members are constantly struggling to influence the people in Consequences, but the local priests in the town have become the rabble-rousers instead. Julián C. Plasentar is one of the few members in the Assembly to vote "no" on helping the True Catholic Society, his childhood hatred for The Inquisitors still tilts his views, Julián still sees them as too dangerous to help. Julián lives in a relatively cozy piece of roofed ruin.

Personality[]

Julián C. Plasentar is not very different from any wastelander in the desert, but he has a more opportunistic/optimistic approach in life, since he can only see himself as a leader. Julián is biased around factions he saw as nasty in his childhood. Julián C. Plasentar only stands out in two things: Having a goal in his life and his average knowledge in Pre-War politics. He is liked by most members in the Consequent Assembly, but ignored and even pitied by normal settlers.

Appearance[]

Julián C. Plasentar a mexican skin color as most people from Las Cruces has, and has black hair. He has a pompadour and an extended goatee. He wears worn-out rags most of the time.

Quotes[]

It is true, sadly the only subject we could ever agree with the priests is that of retaking Las Cruces, but now most people are starting to be reluctant about the idea. People are losing love for their home and its symbols. Let's act now.— Julián C. Plasentar, speaking to the Consequent Assembly.
