History[]

Mountain Wine developed after the Great War, as survivors slowly redomesticed the postwar llamas. The drink was first invented by tribals, but was later adopted by those who emerged from the vaults.

Social Significance[]

Mountain Wine is traditionally seen as a symbol of hospitality. This association first came into being as mountain survivors slowly pieced a together a society. This tradition was later adopted by the Teton Protectorate, where the ritual of Mountain Wine is now strictly observed. On the other hand, Lemhite have banned it alongside all other alcoholic substances. However, this ban rarely is enforced. It is common across the tribes scattered across eastern Idaho and the Yellowstone Nations.
