If it isn't clear from the title of this post, and the preceding, let it be known. The stories and characters I make will be based in and around Michigan, in what is the Midwest Commonwealth in the Fallout world. My Fallout Michigan is a bastion of nature, with the Upper Peninsula being completely covered in dense forests that spread some ways down the Lower Peninsula. Detroit is the only city left somewhat standing, and I will try to incorporate some others ideas, such as the well thought out Motor Town and the Selfridge Company, both of which will be touched lightly.
