Has anyone noticed the trend of internet Pre-Madonnas recently? It seems like anywhere you go virtually, especially an internet "artistic" gathering place like a writing site or art site, there's always those people who think they're the best thing since sliced bread and have a conniption when you tell them otherwise. It pisses me off. People need to cut the bullshit over the internet and chill their beans. No one cares about how twisted your knickers may be or how genuine your pseudo-anger (which is really only an effort to garner attention) looks, the fact of the matter is that you're being a bitch. Seriously? Is your "art" really that good? No, most likely not. Have you proven how great of an artist you are? No, you most certainly have not. Yeah, okay, they criticized your work. So that must mean that they are jealous of you and they hate you, right? NO, IT MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT!

Has anyone ever really stopped to consider the fact that, maybe, they might actually need improvement or, even worse, that they suck? No, of course not. You've grown up with little structure, and you've been deluded into thinking that you're some gifted and enlightened artist out to spread your knowledge to the world. This feeling is compounded by our obsession with "politeness" and "political correctness" in order to create a magical world of rainbows and sunshine. Hate to break it to you, but you ain't in Kansas anymore. The real world's a-knockin', and it's time to pull your head out of your ass and answer the goddamn door. Get a clue, people. If you need to improve, improve, but don't sit around whining about your woes and how everyone has criticized you and how they all hate you. Instead, take their comments into consideration and actually do better. Because, when you whine, do you know what you are? You're an ePre-Madonna, that's what. So shut up and pay attention.

I rest my case.
